Today Mark King joined our ever growing list of illustrious professional CueViews, Mark dropped everything to do this interview even though he was already at the UK champs practising for his opening match against MJ Williams – what a guy.

STBS – What is your full name please
MK –  Mark Anthony King

STBS – Your Current Club/base
MK – I play at Q ball snooker club chelmsford

STBS – Your Highest Break
MK – I have had more than 20 147s

STBSAre you Left/Right Handed or both
MK – I am left handed

STBS – Bio about yourself (in no more than 200 words)
MK – I have played snooker for over 25 years and have been a pro for 22 years,have reached 2 major finals and a few semi finals, hoping to win a ranking event one day.i have a wonderful wife and 3 brilliant children.

STBS – What was your first ever memory of snooker?
MK – Watching Steve Davis vs Alex Higgins on TV

STBS – At what age did you start playing snooker and why?
MK – I started playing at 10 years old

STBS – What has been your greatest achievement in snooker?
MK – My best achievement so far has to be when I beat Jimmy White at Wembley 6-5 with all my family there

STBS – Who is the most famous professional player you have played or met? (can be modern or older era)
MK – I have met every player In the game of snooker

STBS – Who is your favourite TV commentator?
MK – Neal founds is my fav commentator

STBS – What is your Favourite professional player and why?
MK – I don’t have a favourite player, I get on with everybody

STBS – What has been the most memorable snooker match you have ever seen?
MK – Best match is when Stephen Hendry beat Jimmy White 18-14

STBS -Who is the most under-rated player in professional snooker?
MK – Graeme dott is the most under rated player.

STBS – Funniest moment in your snooker experience?
MK – Funniest moment in snooker for me is when I was at the masters and I came out dancing

STBS – Who is your bogey player?
MK – I don’t have a bogey player

STBS – Do you have any snooker ambitions you still have not achieved?
MK – My ambition is to win a ranking event still
