Tregonissey ‘A’ march on at the top of the Victory League after thumping St Neot 5-0.

Ryan Bilson beat Chris Perring in the first with Barrie McIntosh hammering Darren Lock next Martin Knight and Jason Simmons both had black ball wins over Anthony Maddams and Steve Courts respectively with Jason Cocks seeing off Cyril Dickenson in the last.

Bethel ‘A’ recorded a great 4-1 win at Mevagissey ‘A’ to move into second place, Paul Baron (James Popplewell) and Garry Stephens (Leighton Varcoe) got them off to a good start but Mills beat Green in the battle of the Matts to pull one back for the home side. Andy Peers hammered Phil Staley next with Leon Collard completing the victory getting past Mark Ashton.

St Blazey ‘A’ had an excellent 4-1 home win over Mevagissey ‘B’ with Micket Meares notching a 34 clearance when beating Matt Rowe and Aiden Maxwell-Craddock knocking in a fine 38 against Nathan Shaw and their were further wins for Stewart Dewings and Nick Kendall who beat Dave Kendall. Mark Gregory’s good form continued as he saw off Mark Craddock for the away points.

Len Flowers knocked in a 33 break and Phil Ormand a 39 as Pelynt returned from St Stephen ‘A’ with a fine 4-1 win. Their other winners were Andy Parnell and Dave Chivers with Anthony Harrison beating Richard Broad to capture the home point.

Mevagissey ‘D’ have really opened up the Rees League title race after hammering leaders Tregonissey ‘B’ 4-1. Wins for George Lory, Mark Ashton (35 break), Rich Lakeman and Scott Mills saw them move into second place in the league with Mike Hooley replying for the leaders.

Bethel ‘B’ had to hand over the Runabout Shield to their ‘D’ team after a 3-2 defeat. Lee Searle (Rich Bolt), Jason Pascoe (Martin Isted) and Ryan Tonkin (Jim Tamblyn) put the ‘D’ side 3-0 up. Guy Buckle pulled one back getting past Ross McMenemy and Clive Stuthridge managed to get their second point defeating Dave Morshead who led right up until the black was potted.

There was a long night on the other table as the ‘C’ team slipped to a suprise defeat to Lerryn. Howard Brett’s 30 break and a fine potting performance from Roger Smithson put them 2-0 up.

There then followed an 85-minute frame between Leigh Rosevear and Charles McMiram which Charles nicked to start the comeback. Courtney Crockford led all the way in his frame only for Terry Middleton to pip him and Graham Hoskin defeated Ben Stunnell to complete the comeback.

Gorran Haven completed a great win over Mevagissey ‘C’. Wins for Lee McKinstry, Rob Bunney and Paul Grimmett, who pipped the Predator and Andy Reddall got their four points with Adrian Evans seeing off Geoff Hayhurst for the away side.

St Stephen ‘B’ are flying high after a whitewash of Tregonissey ‘C’ to reach their best position ever. Rob Garside was run close by Michaela Edwards and Darren Biggen by Jacqui Hancock with other wins for Terry and Craig Nicholls and Josh Doherty.
