Andrew Best’s breaks of 32 and 31 were the highlight at leaders Bugle ‘A’ returned from Mevagissey ‘B’ with a 5-0 whitewash.
Bugle ‘B’ returned to form with a 4-1 win over Lostwithiel ‘B’ – Ian Ball had a 55 but despite a 32-break Graham Taylor lost out to George Lory.
Sparks picked up two valuable points away at Tywardreath ‘A’ as Mike Williams surprised Andrew Gooch winning on the pink – Mike Hancock weighed in with a 48 for the home side.
In the top match of the night Tregonissey beat St Neot 3-2 with Barry McIntosh’s 34 pivotal. Martin Rowe winning the last frame for the visitors keeping it very tight at the top of the division.
St Blazey increased their lead at the top of the Rees League when beating Mevagissey ‘D’ 4-1, Mike Towsey with the visitors’ solitary point.
Bethel ‘B’ moved back into second place when winning 3-2 at Lerryn, Guy Buckle seeing off Terry Middleton in the decider.
Whilst Bethel ‘C’ came from 2-0 down to overcome their ‘D’ team as Brett, Crockford and Cocks triumphed over Pascoe, Spearman and Tonkin respectively.
Mevagissey ‘C’ also recovered from 2-1 down to pip Gorran Haven 3-2 with Lee McKinstry and Paul Grimmett the Haven’s marksmen.
